Welcome to Bay Battles. By purchasing a ticket, registering for a tournament, or using this website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read carefully.

1. Refund Policy

Refunds are available only if you have registered but have not yet played a match.
No refunds will be issued if you have already participated in a match.
No refunds will be given for technical difficulties or connection issues once a tournament has started.
To request a refund, please email southbaybattles@gmail.com with your order information.

2. Eligibility to Play

To participate in a tournament, you must complete all required steps:

Purchase an entry ticket.
Submit your decklist and shipping form.
Register on Battlefy.

By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and agree to comply with all rules, requirements, and these Terms and Conditions.

3. Delivery Policy

Orders (such as prizes or shipped items) will only be fulfilled after full payment is received.
Delivery is considered successful once shipment is received by the carrier.
Tournament prizes will only be shipped to addresses located within the continental United States. Bay Battles does not provide international prize delivery.
If you experience any delivery issues, please email southbaybattles@gmail.com.
You may have the right to return items if necessary and as permitted by applicable consumer protection laws.

4. Privacy and Data Management

We collect limited personal information such as name, email, mailing address, and decklist submissions for the purpose of organizing tournaments and delivering prizes.
Your data will not be sold or shared with third parties, except as necessary to operate tournaments (e.g., shipping providers, payment processors).
By registering, you consent to our collection and use of your data for these purposes.
You may contact us at southbaybattles@gmail.com to request correction or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable legal requirements.

5. User Conduct and Fair Play

Players must conduct themselves respectfully toward other participants, staff, and organizers.
Harassment, cheating, use of unauthorized software, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
Bay Battles reserves the right to disqualify or ban players who violate these standards without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All branding, logos, website content, and original materials on this site are the property of South Bay Battles unless otherwise stated.
One Piece and related assets are © Eiichiro Oda / Shueisha, Toei Animation. South Bay Battles is an independent project and is not produced, endorsed, or affiliated with Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc., Shueisha, or Toei Animation.

7. Payment Terms

All entry fees and purchases must be paid in full prior to participation or delivery of goods.
Entry tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly approved by South Bay Battles.
Payments are processed through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) and subject to their terms and conditions.

8. Limitation of Liability

South Bay Battles is not responsible for damages, losses, or claims resulting from tournament participation, website usage, delivery delays, technical issues, or third-party services.
Participation in tournaments is at your own risk.

9. Termination of Participation

We reserve the right to deny or revoke participation in tournaments for rule violations, fraudulent activity, or failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

10. Disputes and Applicable Law

Any disputes arising from your participation in tournaments or use of this website will first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at southbaybattles@gmail.com.
If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
By participating, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts located in California.

11. Force Majeure

South Bay Battles will not be liable or responsible for any failure or delay in performance caused by events outside of our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, power outages, internet disruptions, strikes, labor disputes, governmental actions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Amendments

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
